Changelog Follow new updates and improvements to Neo Agent.
New integrations
CIPP. Unblock users, reset MFA, release quarantined mail and more in client tenants, through your own CIPP.Addigy. Look up Macs and installed software, run your library scripts and send MDM commands.Domotz. Check collectors, devices and alerts, and power-cycle a PoE port or PDU outlet with approval.Wizer. Add new hires, disable leavers and start security awareness courses for a client.Uniview Backup. Check a backup-failure ticket against the portal, and close it once the device backs up again.
Agents
Fixed
Agents now show, quote and copy your own AI Skills when you ask. Notify actions no longer skip messages with no condition, and see ticket changes earlier steps made. Status-triggered agents no longer stop early, deciding their own trigger was not met. A run cut off mid-answer now retries, and no longer closes as a false success. In a scheduled run, one ticket's error no longer stops the agent for every other ticket. Neo now refuses to save a triage step that names a field no PSA has. Agents started when another agent finishes now check their filters against the updated ticket.
Supervised mode & approvals
New
Approvers see the exact calls a request plans to make, and which ones Neo used.
Fixed
Approval cards for time entries now show the minutes and billing, so fewer approved entries get blocked. Approved plan steps no longer get refused when the agent rewords its own explanation. The planned actions list on an approval no longer jumps and resizes on Windows. Agents now send technician approval requests with planned actions reliably, without failed attempts. When an approver gets no Teams card, the alert names who and how to fix it.
Chat & Neo Support
Fixed
Neo Support no longer writes a duplicate rule when an agent ignored a rule it already had. Neo Support now applies the agent instruction edits you approve, and says why when it cannot. Ask Neo Support for a board or queue count and it counts open tickets, as your PSA shows. Neo Support in Teams now opens a support ticket for a technician not mapped in your PSA. Neo Support now says which tickets an instruction edit stops covering before you confirm it. Neo Support can now test-run a new, disabled agent, as Run now does on the dashboard.
Teams
New
Neo now retries a Teams app update every day for client tenants the publish missed. Each client's Teams install now shows why an update did not reach it, and what fixes it. Test your branded Teams bot in your own Teams from one short dialog, before clients see it. Stop a running chat answer in Teams with the Stop button on its progress card.
Fixed
The internal channel card no longer shows an unopened install link as installed. New Neo support chats in Teams now include the bot that relays your @mentions. Teams app updates now publish after a token refresh, or tell you to resend the install link. Publish update for your branded Teams app now works when the app's availability is limited.
Phone Agent
New
The memory dialog now shows which phone agents read a memory and where to attach it.
Fixed
When a caller hangs up during a transfer, the ticket records it in place of a failed transfer.
Dispatch
New
Dispatch can now count a technician's finished work earlier today, so daily-hours rules hold. Set each technician's working hours in Neo, and dispatch uses them in place of PSA hours. Group your technicians, and pick a group for dispatch so its current members join the pool.
Fixed
Agentic dispatch now checks who is on shift, so it stops assigning off-shift technicians. Dispatch now reads an appointment correctly when its description contains a pipe character. Dispatch no longer counts a kept owner as new work when it balances technician load. Dispatch agents that add a specialist beside the current owner now keep that owner. A dispatch approved after its ticket closed no longer reopens, assigns or books that ticket. In When unsure mode, dispatch asks you once per ticket and offers only technicians to pick. Suggest-only dispatch agents that run at the same time now each give a suggestion.
Insights & reporting
New
Insights now shows the monthly dollar value of each recurring problem's opportunity. Export the credits each ticket used, with its company, for any period from Executions. The Performance page category table now shows credits, minutes per run and run time per category. The Performance & Cost page loads section by section and opens at once when you come back.
Fixed
Insights now suggests the typical hourly rate for your region from your billing currency and time zone.
Integrations
New
Custom API connections can now send a stored API key in the web address. Ask Neo to build a missing integration; with a usable vendor API, it ships in 5 working days.
Fixed
D&H calls no longer fail when D&H ends the session early. The Microsoft 365 access link now completes on a client's first approval.
ConnectWise
New
Ask Neo Support to check or change the "Replies from unregistered contacts" switch. Agents now see billed hours beside worked hours on ConnectWise time entries. Pick project, phase, work type and work role from dropdowns in project-ticket filters. Ask an agent to build a ConnectWise project, with phases and tasks, from a plan.
Fixed
Agents now move ConnectWise tickets to another board when the current Item does not fit there.
Autotask
Fixed
Agents no longer fail Autotask resource lookups by asking for a department field resources do not have. Autotask maintenance no longer raises a false zone change notice in your inbox. Customer email replies in Autotask now trigger "Customer replied" workflows again. Agents can now list and link Autotask project tickets. Agents now log Autotask time on tickets that accept time under one role only. After you change Neo's PSA user, the integration card and picker show the new user at once.
Halo
Fixed
When Halo refuses a new ticket over a mandatory field, your inbox names the field and type. "Is not in list" conditions and ticket id lookups now filter Halo tickets correctly.
RMM
Fixed
An RMM sync that finds no devices now shows a warning in place of "Sync complete". Agents no longer ask for approval to run an RMM script when you switched approval off. ConnectWise Automate script results now go to the right job, so agents read the right output.
Dashboard
New
Teams Users is now part of Technicians, each technician linked to their Microsoft account. "Set up hours with Neo" on the Technicians page now opens Neo Support on the same page. Sign in to the Neo feedback portal with your Neo account to post, vote and comment.
Fixed
Tooltips in right-aligned table columns now read left-aligned. Expired API keys now show an Expired badge and say why they cannot be rotated. New integrations
SentinelOne. Triage threats and isolate or mitigate endpoints, under your approval settings.Hornetsecurity. Search email logs, release held emails and manage allow and deny lists.Proofpoint Essentials. Manage your clients' safe and block lists, users and domains.Ubiquiti UniFi. Read sites, devices and clients, restart devices, and change WiFi or firewall rules with approval.AutoElevate. Approve or deny elevation requests after a technician approves.TD SYNNEX StreamOne. Change your clients' cloud subscriptions and seats, in ION and Stellr.
Agents
New
Click Adjust with Neo and Neo drafts the agent with you: instructions, trigger, filter and tools. Adjust with Neo also rewrites triage fields, action instructions, intents, Skills and ticket filters. Send Email now keeps your team's addresses; agents email them without approval, others follow your setting. Agents can read recent posts and replies in the Teams channels you choose. 4 new templates: Customer Reply Chaser, Company and Contact Triage, Priority Ticket Alert, Escalate Stuck Tickets. Any dashboard user can set up an agent from a template with Neo's guided setup. Interrupted scheduled workflows now resume, and you get an alert when a scheduled run is lost. Pick the statuses that mean finished, so Neo never merges into or suggests those tickets. Set a work type on the time entries agents log in ConnectWise, Autotask, Halo and Syncro. The Ticket Briefing template posts requester, devices, possible duplicates and outage flags in one note. Your inbox now suggests an improvement when Neo's review of a run finds one. Pick a custom field condition's field from your PSA's synced custom fields instead of typing it. Chat agents can now have up to 40 intents, and the editor helps you describe each one. Notification rewrites can say how long a ticket has held its current status. Agents now know which Teams user is which PSA technician, from your technician mapping. Adding and removing licence seats is now one tool, with a separate switch for each.
Fixed
An agent that claims an update it never made now retries the step instead of reporting success. Test mode runs now finish the whole job, read live Microsoft 365 data, and report their findings. Agent notes, messages and approval cards keep their line breaks, with each fact on its own line. Ticket merge no longer joins unrelated tickets because they name the same device or user. Triggered agents no longer start twice from the same change on a busy ticket. Note-added triggers now run once per note, not again at every later ticket change. Agents now report a ticket field update as failed when the PSA did not save it. Agents now say when your own field permissions blocked an update, and where to change it. Agents can no longer overwrite a long document with a shortened copy. Agent emails to your clients now have their own subject and no PSA link. Agents picking up a ticket again now follow your latest settings, not their first run's. Follow-up agents now notice ticket activity since their last run, even when the ticket looks unchanged. After a PSA switch, triage skips fields the new PSA lacks and still sets the rest. Triage no longer fails over a tag card, or a custom field card with no field chosen. Triage now finds the contact when a ticket names the requester by first name only. Ticket search now returns the most relevant past tickets first. Agents now link configuration items to tickets, and no longer report a failed link as done. Agents can read any part of a very large result, such as a long IT Glue article. Agents can open large ticket attachments, such as an originating email. Agents search your general documentation on tickets with no company, instead of escalating. Time entry agents now work only the entries their filter matched, not every entry on the ticket. A conditional Notify step now sends to every recipient or to none, never to only some. Chase Customer timing now follows your time zone and business hours without stalling. An agent started by another agent now follows its own instructions over the handoff text. Agents limited to set Teams recipients now message them, instead of sending nothing. A run now says plainly when a triage or dispatch decision was never written to the ticket. When a ticket change does not trigger an agent, the run says what change Neo saw. A run that stops before doing any work is now retried, not marked successful. Tickets with very long custom fields or contact notes no longer fail the agent run. A ticket deleted mid-run no longer fails a merge workflow; Neo skips it. Verify Rules no longer rejects search-text filters such as Audit Trail Contains. A backfill on a disabled agent is refused with a clear reason instead of hanging. Internal notes with custom formatting now keep the Agent header line and feedback link. When a step has nothing to run, the agent skips it and carries on instead of stopping. A schedule move your PSA did not apply now reads as failed, with where the entry sits. Ticket searches across all companies no longer come back empty. A Teams message that times out no longer fails a scheduled agent's whole run.
Chat & Neo Support
New
Attach a CSV, Excel or PDF in dashboard chat and your agent reads it. Press Train with no feedback, and Neo reviews the run and your approval decisions itself. Train can propose turning on a missing tool, permission or memory, not only instruction edits. Chat agents attach a screenshot or file you pasted in chat to a PSA ticket. Ask Neo Support to re-run an agent on a list of tickets, and it starts the runs. Neo Support offers tick-box choices for boards, statuses and companies, and one-click go-ahead buttons. Chat agents offer likely answers as buttons you can tap, in Teams and the dashboard. Neo asks several questions on one card, one at a time, in the dashboard and Teams. Neo Support suggests starter prompts for the page you are on, such as Explain this run. Every finished run log now ends with a Train button. Neo Support suggests moving client facts and routines from instructions into Memories, Skills or Intents. Proposed instruction changes in Neo Support highlight just the words that change. Ask Neo Support for a PSA change it cannot make, and it names your agent that can. Neo Support's Fast and Smart modes now run on our newest model. A link from our team can open Neo Support with a request ready for you to send.
Fixed
Changes you approve in Neo Support now apply in seconds instead of up to a minute. Train now flags a fault in Neo and offers to escalate it, instead of an instruction workaround. Neo Support shows the exact instruction wording before it saves an edit, and stops looping on refusals. Neo Support applies a change you approved across many agents instead of refusing it. Neo Support asks before big jobs and delivers part of one instead of timing out. Long chat jobs keep their working files, and return files from large workspaces without timing out. Chat agents no longer refuse PSA data that a technician's chat access already allows. Chat applies a permission change mid-conversation, so a newly promoted admin is not refused. When Neo cannot match you to a PSA technician in chat, it says so instead of guessing. Dashboard chat no longer sticks on Thinking hard for 10 minutes after a reload. The full-page chat keeps the message box on screen, and long pasted messages use the full width. Neo Support checks your board sync filter before it blames your PSA for a missing webhook. Neo Support reads your own relay settings before it explains how technicians reply to end users. Neo Support reads your agent groups instead of guessing them from agent names. Neo Support can edit agents that use a Basic Auth custom API connection. Train chats are titled with the ticket number and agent name, so you can find them.
Integrations
New
Move direct-consent companies to GDAP from the Companies page, one by one or in bulk. Set allowed and blocked PowerShell cmdlets once on the Active Directory and Exchange integrations. ScalePad now covers Backup Radar and accounts hosted in the EU, Canada or Australia. Disconnect key-based integrations such as ThreatLocker, Huntress and ScalePad from the dashboard. Ingram Micro customers map to your PSA companies automatically, so licence changes need no typed id. ThreatLocker checks your API key when you save it and maps organizations at once. Custom API connections now support List fields, for APIs that expect an array.
Fixed
Offboarding agents can share a leaver's OneDrive with whoever takes over. A ticket with no status no longer stalls ticket sync for Halo, Autotask or ConnectWise. GDAP setup sends you to the Global Admin consent link instead of looping on Reconnect. The Microsoft 365 consent link now works in any browser, without a Neo sign-in. Agents checking Microsoft 365 service health get the outage data, not a false permission error. Agents read Microsoft 365 licences correctly and no longer report a working removal as group-blocked. When a company was never connected to Microsoft 365, agents say how to connect it. Agents can download Word, Excel and PDF files from SharePoint and OneDrive in scripts. Onboarding agents can add a user to a group-connected SharePoint site. Agents reset on-prem AD passwords and hide synced users from the address list without failing. Exchange commands with a rejected parameter now report a failure instead of an empty result. Agents can copy a PSA ticket attachment into IT Glue without corrupting the file. Agents writing IT Glue documents now create real heading sections. Agents no longer try to download IT Glue attachments, and say where to find the content. Hudu outages, Hudu IP blocks and rejected Pax8 keys now show a clear inbox item. Custom API connections using OAuth2 now fetch a fresh token when the old one is rejected. A manual documentation sync no longer fails by colliding with the scheduled one. Lexful docs sync now completes when an asset type has more than 50 fields.
Dashboard
New
Every dashboard view, from an inbox message to a phone call, now has a shareable link. Give one teammate access to every agent and workflow without making them an admin. Search the workflow list by name or part of an id. Click anywhere on an agent or workflow row to open it; Back to Agents returns you. Cmd-click or middle-click an agent or workflow to open it in a new tab. Show Changes now shows a line-numbered diff with word highlights, unified or side by side. The instructions editor shows line numbers, writing tips when empty, and warns only past 50,000 characters. Select and delete several memories at once on the Memory page. The Workflows list is more compact, with one New menu for templates, agents and workflows.
Fixed
The Activity page refreshes on its own, so new runs and finished statuses appear. The agent builder loads in seconds even when your PSA is slow or failing. Company and Contact pickers in agent filters no longer freeze on PSAs with thousands of companies. Runs stuck on Running for days now close as failed with a clear note. Event History no longer lists tickets deleted in your PSA as failures. A Settings timezone picker means a mistyped timezone can no longer stop dispatch runs. Dashboard dates now read in English, in your region's format, whatever your browser language. A new agent group stays after a refresh, and you pick its agents when you create it. An agent's run history now loads for users who can see only some agents. Opening an agent no longer marks its instructions as unsaved. Unsaved skill drafts survive a switch mid-save, and a deleted Insights report no longer hangs. Run time and tool counts now include the work done before an approval. The PSA health check on the Integrations page now loads instead of timing out. Help buttons no longer cover the Adjust with Neo and Next buttons. Long names in Linked Systems no longer spill over the Microsoft 365 column on Companies. The instructions editor now numbers every line after a nested list.
Supervised mode & approvals
New
Turn on supervised mode: the agent shows its plan, then each change waits for a technician's approval. Supervise a single run from Run now, without changing the agent's own settings. Send approval cards to a Teams channel or group chat, where anyone in it can approve. Watch a supervised run on its own page and approve, reject or ask for changes there. Approve an agent's plan of changes once, and each listed change runs exactly as approved. Approval cards sent to technicians in Teams, and the Approvals page, now list every planned change. Run supervised and test mode together: approve each change while Neo only simulates it. Approval cards in Teams and the Approvals page link to the run that waits on them. Pre-approve specific RMM scripts with exact variables, so agents run them without waiting. Rejecting a plan now asks for a short reason, so Train knows what to fix. Executions now show which approval allowed each RMM script run.
Fixed
Approved writes to IT Glue, ConnectWise, Autotask and Halo now go through instead of retrying blocked. After Ask for changes, Neo no longer sends the same approval again. Your Teams approval card now updates when you decide the request in the dashboard. Approval cards in Teams now use the full chat width, with clearer button labels. Agents ask for approval only to make a specific change; reviews and checks go in the note.
Teams
New
End users see their tickets on a new Tickets tab in your branded Teams app. New ticket on the Tickets tab files the user's next message to the bot as a ticket. Chat about this on a ticket moves the bot conversation onto that ticket. The end-user bot reads a user's open tickets, so follow-ups no longer open duplicates. The Tickets tab speaks each user's language, and your links can hold a phone extension or email. Add your Teams technicians in bulk with a Chat only role. The rebuilt channel page groups installs, chat and the Teams app, and shows unpublished app changes. Open a newly installed Teams bot's chat straight from its channel page.
Fixed
End-user bot chats stuck on a service error now recover, and start new chat resets the bot. Open Teams chats keep working after you assign a different agent to the channel. Installing the end-user bot mid-move no longer breaks technicians' existing Teams chats with Neo. When an internal bot moves to its own identity, technicians get a link to the new chat. Notes from an end-user chat now land on the new ticket, even when a reply is retried. Publishing your Teams app now retries busy client tenants and updates only the ones behind. After a Teams app update, Neo tells you to restart Teams if the bot looks locked. The Teams bot no longer shows an error when the agent has nothing more to say. Teams messages and approval cards now reach people whose directory name has a double space. End users who type an unknown ticket number now get a plain answer.
Phone Agent
New
Turn on warm transfer: the Phone Agent holds the caller, briefs your technician, then connects them. The Phone Agent is out of beta. Call History shows which tickets a call created and where the caller was transferred. The Phone Agent starts answering about 1.5 seconds after a caller stops, down from 2.4. Choose Cartesia or ElevenLabs as the voice for each phone number. Attach MSP-wide memories to a phone number, and the Phone Agent reads them on every call. Buy New Zealand phone numbers for your Phone Agent. Delete a switched-off phone agent and release its number, after you see who still calls it. The Phone Agent now ends a call after the caller stays silent through 3 check-ins.
Fixed
Promised transfers and tickets now happen, and callers no longer hear tool text read aloud. Calls no longer drop when a caller goes quiet for a moment. The Phone Agent hears today, yesterday, yes and no correctly on English calls. The agent asks callers to spell an unclear company, and alerts you if no default is set. Every call now gets its transcript and fallback ticket, even when Twilio has no record of it. Calls from a company deleted in ConnectWise now file their ticket under your default company. Two close calls from the same number now each keep their own recording and duration. Phone Agent settings open fast on large PSAs, and long instructions type without lag. Resuming the Phone Agent add-on now restores your phone numbers at once.
Autotask
New
Leave chosen work types out of the time entries relayed to end users.
Fixed
Autotask time entries trigger agents and relay to the end user as soon as they are saved. If Autotask rejects one custom field value, Neo still writes the rest and names the field. Agents see the allowed values of Autotask pick-list custom fields and set them correctly. Autotask status triggers now fire on status names such as Escalate to L3. Agents creating Autotask projects now create a live project, not a template. A brief Autotask outage now retries and shows as a PSA outage instead of failing the run. Runs on an Autotask ticket deleted or merged mid-run now skip cleanly instead of failing. Autotask ticket updates no longer fail when an agent puts the ticket id in the URL. Agents make fewer failed Autotask calls when reading notes, names, queues, tags, business hours and fields. Dispatch now links Autotask service calls to their tickets. Notify Ticket Resources now reaches the primary resource on an Autotask ticket. Agents now link Autotask alert tickets to their Problem ticket. Agents now find a contact's configuration items instead of querying the wrong link. When an Autotask merge would loop, agents try another duplicate or leave a clear note. A new Autotask connection reads Pending first sync instead of Disabled for its first hour. New Autotask webhooks no longer send callout-delay emails to your admin mailbox.
Dispatch
New
A new Dispatch rule skips tickets moved to another status, board or team while Neo decides. Dispatch workload can count all open tickets, with custom lookback windows up to 90 days.
Fixed
Dispatch no longer assigns a ticket without booked time, and checks the live calendar first. Dispatch no longer books technicians on public holidays listed in your PSA. Dispatch no longer mixes up technicians' shifts, workload and skills when it picks an assignee. Dispatch keeps the free time your rules reserve, instead of booking the last open gap. Dispatch assigns past the soft workload cap when nobody else fits, instead of leaving tickets unassigned. Round-robin dispatch checks next-day calendars and skips a booking that would double-book. The pre-booking calendar check now works for ConnectWise tenants outside UTC. When no technician has a valid slot, Dispatch now tells you instead of failing silently. Dispatch offers a slot after the SLA deadline instead of failing the ticket when none fits. Dispatch follows your rules more exactly, and no longer skips a requested hand-off over an onsite mention. Don't auto-assign on a dispatch question card now stops Neo asking about that ticket. A workload window of 0 now means today, so technician workload counts again. Tickets in a Complete or Completed status no longer count toward a technician's workload. Dispatch rules now match names that differ only in punctuation, spacing or case.
ConnectWise
New
Run agents and workflows on ConnectWise project tickets, not only service tickets.
Fixed
Technician replies in ConnectWise now reliably reach the end user's Teams chat. Client-facing ConnectWise notes now save even when ConnectWise's email setup rejects the send. The Customer replied trigger no longer fires on the email that opened the ticket. When a ConnectWise customer reply is not matched, the run names the exact cause. ConnectWise triggers no longer run again days later on entries Neo already processed. Agents read, write and filter by ConnectWise custom fields correctly. When ConnectWise cannot price a time entry, the agent notes the work-role fix instead of failing. Schedule-to-time-entry sync can log finished work against closed ConnectWise schedule entries. A ConnectWise database error on time entries is now a warning, not a failed run. Agents Neo builds for ConnectWise no longer get a ticket filter that never matches. Agents now explain why tickets from 2 different companies cannot be merged. Bundling no longer picks a parent ticket that is itself a child, which ConnectWise rejects.
Halo
New
Agents can show a screenshot inside a Halo internal note, not only attach it. Filter Halo tickets by Category 1 to 4.
Fixed
Dispatch-booked Halo appointments reach technicians' Outlook and Teams calendars again. Agents can set Halo dropdown custom fields, choosing from the field's real options. Use Client's Primary Contact now works on Halo, with each site's main contact. Halo triage that changes the ticket type now keeps the status and team it set. New Halo tickets from chat, phone and agents now carry the ticket source you set. When Halo refuses an end-user chat reply on a ticket, your inbox names the settings to fix. Halo status triggers with a From status now fire when the status changes. Ticket created triggers no longer fire again on old Halo tickets. Scheduled Halo searches now apply custom field conditions instead of skipping them. Halo agents now find appointments to change instead of retrying a wrong path. Agents reading specific Halo tickets by id now get only those tickets.
ServiceNow
New
ServiceNow agents can create customer contacts and link them to their company's contracts. ServiceNow agents can look up CSM customer contacts and office locations.
Fixed
ServiceNow agents read multi-row answers on onboarding requests, such as mailboxes and groups. Trigger pickers list every ServiceNow task state, and status filters match their labels. ServiceNow triage picks a subcategory that belongs to the ticket's category. Duplicate-ticket merge now works on ServiceNow, and a bad merge pick no longer fails the run. Agents find ServiceNow contacts by full name and match every company name they search. Agents find ServiceNow state values such as Pending on requested items. A ServiceNow filter on a misspelled custom field now raises an inbox item instead of matching everything. End-user chat agents on ServiceNow now file tickets with your ticket source set.
Insights & reporting
New
Problem maps group tickets by the fix they need, so each problem is one row. Exclude companies from a problem map; problems with no logged time skip the savings estimate. The Problems view shows Neo's share as resolved and touched, with the last 30 days split out. The Problems view marks which integrations each problem needs, with a link to connect each one. Set your own minutes saved per workflow run, and Time Saved uses your figure. The Performance page shows each automation's credits, minutes saved per run and average run time.
Fixed
Time Saved now counts only successful runs. Ticket coverage keeps every week and never shows Neo handling more tickets than arrived. Problem maps built over 180 days no longer time out.
RMM
Fixed
Agents search your RMM scripts before handing endpoint work to a technician. Agents now read complete device and organization lists in NinjaOne, Datto RMM and other RMMs. Agents find a Datto RMM device by hostname on large sites, and script searches for one work. ConnectWise Automate runs on-prem AD scripts, keeps every live device, and never submits a script 3 times. NinjaOne scripts no longer show as failed and run twice while still running. NinjaOne connections now recover on their own when NinjaOne rejects a token early. A failed TLS certificate on your RMM server now shows in your inbox as an action item. Datto RMM quick jobs ask for approval only when your Jobs permission requires it.
Billing
New
Upgrade to the next plan in 1 click from Billing, with the exact charge shown first. Neo emails you when an agent's daily credit spend jumps or passes a daily budget you set. The credit forecast weighs quieter weekends and shows how far you may run over your limit. See every MSP you referred and copy your invite message from Billing.
Fixed
Chat and scheduled runs bill integration reads at the read price, not the write price. Credit alerts now reach owners and admins, and your billing contact when credits run out. Paying for a plan at checkout activates it instead of leaving the workspace on trial. Auto top-up customers no longer get a false Limit reached email while credits are added. Scheduled agents without a ticket no longer spend a credit to record time saved.
Slack
New
Give your clients a branded Slack app that chats with your agent and relays technician notes. Your Slack app's Home tab lists each user's tickets, with New ticket and Chat about this. Create and manage a Slack channel from the dashboard, with the app request and install links. Your Slack app serves only people in your client's workspace, and its refusals never name Neo.
Security & data
New
Canadian MSPs can now keep their Neo data in Canada. The Users page shows each person's Last Active time, also through the API for access reviews. New features and improvements Adjust with Neo, everywhere Adjust with Neo now reaches the rest of the product: skills, intents, ticket filters (replacing Generate filters), every instructions box in the agent builder, and each triage field's instructions. On a saved agent you can now ask Neo to change a rule, check the instructions for gaps and contradictions, or turn on the tools and permissions the instructions need, with the credit impact spelled out.
Train Train and Closed Loop now propose the fix that actually applies: when an agent is missing a tool or an integration permission, they say so instead of only suggesting an instructions edit, and a fault in Neo itself is named as ours and offered for escalation. Every finished run log now ends with a Train prompt.
Permissions and guardrails Added allowed and blocked PowerShell cmdlet lists on the Active Directory and Exchange integrations, and pre-approved RMM scripts that run without an approval prompt. Added a setting to declare which ticket statuses can never be the destination of an automatic merge, so your own "Resolved" statuses are respected on every PSA. Added internal-note settings (including Halo outcome and "ask for feedback") on every PSA's notes group.
Neo Support Neo can now ask up to four questions at once, each with its own tappable options, answered in a single card in the dashboard and in Teams. Neo Support can now start one of your workflows when you ask it to re-run tickets, and the API can start an agent on many tickets in one call, optionally ignoring the agent's ticket filter.
Templates Added a Ticket Briefing template (requester, devices, possible duplicate, recurring and outage flags), and templates now build the permissions they need for whichever PSA you are on, including Syncro.
Agents handling very large records (long IT Glue or Hudu documents, big API responses) can now read any part of the result by path, search or range, and a write is held until the agent has actually read the file. Agents now search your RMM script catalogue before handing endpoint work to a technician, and record what they found in the hand-off note. Repetitive per-ticket PSA work is now batched into one script instead of one call per item, and PSA writes confirm exactly what was stored, so runs finish faster and cost fewer credits.
Dispatch Dispatch now re-reads the technician's live calendar while it is still deciding, so a ticket is no longer given an owner but no booked time when someone else takes the slot. Added an optional rule that skips an assignment when a technician moved the ticket to another status, board or team while Neo was deciding.
ServiceNow Added a Contracts permission group, so an agent can cover a new starter under a contract their company already holds.
Phone Agents Added Delete agent: remove a switched-off phone agent and release its number, after a confirmation showing the calls it received in the last 30 days.
Bug fixes Workflows & Triggers Fixed workflows firing again on tickets created or updated days or weeks earlier, on busy tickets, after a ConnectWise audit-format change, and on merged Halo tickets. Fixed a whole workflow failing when the merge step named a ticket outside its candidate list, or when a ticket carried very large custom-field or note content. Fixed Verify Rules rejecting every valid calculated yes/no filter. Fixed triage using the old client's pinned memories after moving a ticket to a different company. Fixed time-entry agents triaging every entry on a ticket instead of only the ones their filter matched.
Fixed a run stopping and reporting success after an approval, leaving the rest of its work undone. Fixed a run that failed before doing any work closing as successful with no retry. Fixed retry being permanently refused on any ticket an agent had ever paused on for an approval. Fixed a technician who pressed "Ask for changes" being asked the same approval again and again. Fixed a batch of Halo actions being posted without approval when only part of the batch needed it, and a ServiceNow comment carrying field changes past a note-only permission.
Dispatch Fixed dispatch refusing free slots and leaving tickets with no appointment time when a calendar had recurring or multi-day entries. Fixed a ticket failing dispatch outright when the only problem was the best slot falling after the SLA deadline. Fixed dispatch booking into time your rules reserve, such as a protected lunch window. Fixed declining a dispatch escalation only parking it; "Don't auto-assign" now stops it for good.
Dashboard Fixed the Activity list not refreshing on its own, so a running job kept a stale status until you hit Refresh. Fixed simply opening an agent marking its instructions as unsaved. Fixed a Neo Support chat pane stuck on "Thinking hardβ¦" with no reply running.
ConnectWise Fixed the pre-booking conflict check silently failing for every tenant east of GMT, so Neo could book on top of an existing calendar block. Fixed agents writing into the wrong custom field, and duplicate-ticket merges never completing.
Halo PSA Fixed "Use Client's Primary Contact if unable to Triage" never applying a contact. Fixed end-user chat replies that Halo refused to post disappearing with nobody told; the refusal now reaches your inbox and names the settings that cause it.
Autotask Fixed one rejected custom-field value discarding an entire ticket update; the remaining fields are now written and you are emailed about the one that failed.
RMM Fixed CW Automate syncs missing devices and then deleting live machines as stale, on-prem servers refusing every scheduled script, and a slow RMM running the same script two or three times. Fixed manual organization mappings being ignored for RMM devices.
Microsoft 365 Fixed the GDAP connection looping with no explanation when a Global Administrator had not yet approved Neo; the checklist now sends you to the admin consent link.
Phone Agents Fixed calls being cut off about thirteen seconds after the caller stopped speaking. Fixed the phone agent telling callers their ticket had failed when it only needed the company name spelled out.
Integrations Fixed the nightly PSA sync timing out for UK and EU tenants with large PSAs, leaving data stale. Fixed Custom API connections failing for hours with an expired token. Fixed a Hudu IP allow-list block being reported as a bad API key, and ticket attachments copied into IT Glue arriving corrupt.
Insights Fixed the Problems tab marking a problem "Ready" when your desk had not connected the systems its steps use. Fixed the Dispatch cost-analysis charts timing out on larger accounts.
Billing Fixed credit-limit and forecast emails skipping owners and admins who never opted into product announcements. Earlier updates Sep 18 Sep 18, 2026 Changelog β Week of September 14, 2026 New features and improvements Supervised Mode Added Supervised Mode: every change an agent wants to make is held for a technician's approval, one card per record, and the run carries on by itself once approved. Turn it on per agent from the editor or the agents table, or require approval for a single Run Now. Watch the run live on its run page, approve or reject each step, and train the agent when it finishes. It also works together with test mode. Neo Support Added "Set up with Neo" for every team member: start from a template, or from an Insights problem that has no template, and Neo builds the agent from the evidence it already gathered. Added "Adjust with Neo" under an agent's custom instructions: Neo Support proposes the edit as a GitHub-style diff with word-level highlights, and offers to move client facts, routines and intake lists into memories, skills and intents. Added tappable suggested replies in Neo Support chat and in Teams messages, including multi-select chips. Roles & Access Added a Chat Only role and bulk technician invite, so every technician can chat with Neo agents without a dashboard login each. Templates Added four templates: Customer Reply Chaser, Company and Contact Triage, Priority Ticket Alert, and Escalate Stuck Tickets with Status Change. Insights The Problems view now separates the tickets Neo resolved from the ones it only touched, with a last-30-days split so recent progress is not hidden in the all-time average. Integrations Added a Disconnect button for credential integrations (ThreatLocker, Huntress, UniFi, ScalePad, Pax8, Sherweb, D&H). Added an AutoElevate (CyberFOX) integration: Neo reviews and approves or denies end-user requests for local admin rights. UniFi can now be connected by controller URL, so self-hosted controllers work, not only Site Manager. Microsoft 365 Added a one-click move from direct admin consent to GDAP on the Companies page, with no gap in access. Phone Agents Call records now show where a transferred caller went and which tickets the call created. Dispatch Workload now counts the last 90 days by default, with "All open tickets" as its own option, so long-untouched tickets stop skewing who gets the next job. Bug fixes Roles & Access Fixed non-admin users being able to see runs, messages and approval requests of agents they were not allowed to open. Fixed chat agents refusing PSA questions with "no data access" when the person's role already granted it. Agents & Tools Fixed the agent builder locking up for up to two minutes when the PSA was slow to answer. Fixed test runs treating live reads as simulated, so agents gave up and escalated instead of investigating. Fixed agents escalating instead of searching your documentation on tickets with no linked company. Workflows & Triggers Fixed a triage action failing whenever it included a Tag field, discarding every other field with it. Fixed a whole triage aborting on a custom field with no name. Fixed new workflow groups disappearing after a page refresh. Fixed the Company and Contact filter pickers freezing on very large PSAs. Dispatch Fixed dispatch booking appointments on PSA public holidays. Fixed round robin booking a next-day slot w Sep 11 Sep 11, 2026 Changelog β Week of September 7, 2026 New features and improvements Insights Added the Problems view: build a map of the recurring problems your technicians still fix by hand. Each problem shows tickets per month, the share Neo already closes, the hours at stake, the technician runbook and example tickets, so you can see exactly where the next agent pays off. Agents & Tools Added chat file attachments: paste a screenshot or file into an internal chat agent and it is attached to the PSA ticket. In Halo, screenshots appear inline in the internal note. Added "Ask for changes" as a third answer on every approval: send guidance back to the agent without authorizing the action, on Teams cards, the Approvals page, the chat card and the public API. End-user chat The end-user bot now sees the user's open tickets on the first message, so re-reported problems no longer become duplicate tickets. Teams Added support for several internal Teams bots per MSP, and for installing the end-user bot inside your own tenant. Workflows & Triggers Added search on the workflow list, by name or partial ID. Dispatch Added an optional rule to skip dispatching a ticket a technician resolved mid-decision, preventing reopened tickets and unwanted customer emails. Integrations Added a Ubiquiti UniFi integration (preview): agents can read and act on UniFi devices, networks, WiFi and firewall rules, with technician approval required on writes. Phone Agents Calls now answer faster on a new low-latency model, and each number can choose its own text-to-speech engine and voice. ConnectWise Added a company-team membership trigger filter, so alerts fire only for the right account managers instead of starting a run on every ticket. Bug fixes Agents & Tools Fixed duplicate-ticket detection recommending merges for unrelated tickets that merely shared a device or user. Fixed writes that would overwrite a record with a truncated placeholder; they are now blocked before any data is lost. Fixed agents telling technicians "no device is attached" when the device read had actually failed. Dashboard Fixed Event History showing tickets deleted in the PSA as failures; they now show as Skipped, removing most false failures. Fixed the agent builder losing your draft when switching tabs. Workflows & Triggers Fixed note triggers re-firing on every later ticket change; they now fire once per note. Fixed list-value filter rules being misread, which let backfills write to out-of-scope tickets. Dispatch Fixed approved slots being rejected by the PSA; slot verification now re-checks the technician's live calendar. Fixed ConnectWise bookings showing technicians as on leave for confirmed work. Halo PSA Fixed client-facing notes never emailing the customer. Fixed "Categories is mandatory" rejections abandoning the Dispatch stage move. Autotask Fixed time entries only reaching the end user's Teams chat when a technician also changed status or queue. Fixed status-change triggers never firing on values containing "to" (such as Need to Invoice). Fixed Autotask emailing your admin mailbox about callout delays. Teams Fixed end-user chats answering "I couldn't reach the service" after a backend disruption; they now re Sep 4 Sep 4, 2026 Changelog β Week of August 31, 2026 New features and improvements Dashboard Added an Activity section with one Executions list for every agent and workflow run, filterable by agent, ticket, status, and date, plus a bookmarkable Execution Log page for each run. Added an Audit Log under Activity showing 30 days of every action your agents took, searchable by ticket or user and filterable by tool, agent, or failures. It is also available on the public API and to the Neo Support Agent. Redesigned the sidebar into collapsible sections with a Cmd/Ctrl+K command palette and a collapsible icon rail. Added a Help menu to the sidebar with Documentation, Roadmap, Discord, and Feedback links. Pages now use the full window width with one-line explainers that link to the docs, and the Inbox and Phone Agents pages were rebuilt on the new design system. Added per-person AI chat data access in Roles & Access: choose which sources each user's chat can read (PSA tickets, each documentation source, RMM device inventory), with a default for Teams users who have no dashboard account. Roles & Access now has one page per person where role, name, shared agents, and permissions are edited together, and the Add agent picker shows agent IDs and can grant several agents at once. Added self-service PSA disconnect: workspace owners can disconnect their PSA, choose whether to keep synced ticket history, and connect a different PSA. Contacts, catalog, and companies from the old PSA are cleaned up in the background. Workflows can now be saved as disabled, and the 14-day trial starts when you enable or run your first automation rather than when you create one. When creating an end-user agent, you now choose when the bot should open a ticket: ticket first, troubleshoot first, or record at the end. SharePoint now shows how much you selected and how much Neo actually indexed, per library and per folder. Released the Service Health permission group for Microsoft 365, no longer Coming Soon. Companies consented before this week may need Grant access re-run. Templates now show a complexity badge, sort easiest-first, and list optional integrations and setup notes in the picker. Removed the redundant Intents card from the agent builder, long workflow names now truncate with a hover tooltip, and the sidebar credit meter now reads as the link to billing it is. Agents & Tools Added reading of .eml and .pdf ticket attachments into ticket context on every PSA, so phishing-report tickets whose only content is an attached email are no longer read as empty. Ticket Triage now sees screenshots and attachments instead of a [cid:β¦] placeholder, with image descriptions cached for 30 days so repeat runs cost nothing. Neo Support can now set up an agent from a template through a short guided conversation, leaving it disabled for your review. Every end-user chat turn is now journaled onto its linked ticket exactly once with native PSA visibility, instead of depending on the model calling a tool. Deprecated the "Find RMM Script to fix the issue" smart action in favour of Agents with RMM script tools. Existing workflows keep working; it just leaves the picker for new ones. Custom vendor integrations gain per-vendor rate-limit retry rules and proactive rate limiting, so vendors like Mimecast and Meraki stop tripping limits. Workflows & Triggers Due-date triage now follows your own written rules ("P1 = 1 day", "next business day 8am", "avoid weekends") instead of four fixed tiers. The weekend-avoidance checkbox is retired in favour of the written instruction. Dispatch Dispatch decisions now stream for every tenant, cutting timed-out dispatches by roug Aug 28 Aug 28, 2026 Changelog β Week of August 24, 2026 New features and improvements Integrations Custom API connections are now generally available β build a reusable, credential-safe connection to any REST endpoint under Integrations β Custom API and hand it to any agent Custom API connections now handle any OAuth2 shape β password and custom grants, extra token parameters with secret values, and Basic auth on the token endpoint β via a new Advanced OAuth section External API setup now lives in one place: the per-agent inline API editor is gone and the agent builder links straight to your Custom API connections Choose exactly which folders of a SharePoint library get synced β untick anything you don't want indexed and Neo removes those documents from the index Disconnecting a documentation source now truly removes it β the Remove dialog shows how many documents Neo holds and offers to delete them, and IT Glue and Hudu credentials are deleted so the tile no longer stays stuck on "Connected" Neo now backfills 90 days of ticket history instead of 30, and syncs every ticket updated in the window β so reporting on a newly added company compares real periods instead of reading a sync gap as a drop Agents can now read Microsoft 365 subscription renewal and expiration dates straight from Microsoft Graph β renewal questions are answerable even for SKUs not bought through a marketplace, with no new consent needed Autotask Added the "resolution plan" completion date to the ticket filter dropdown, so you can filter on tickets with no resolution plan entered Agents now apply future-dated contract-service selling-price changes the way Autotask supports them, instead of failing and leaving the change as a manual step Agents & Tools Edit any file in an AI Skill directly in the dashboard β a real code editor with per-file version history and Restore, plus a read-only sandbox Run panel to test against a chosen agent's integrations without saving or spending credits Agent instructions editor: Tab and Shift+Tab now indent and outdent list items, markdown markers nest properly inside lists, and there is a new editable Markdown source view Agent templates now carry a complexity level, the integrations a template can use but doesn't need, and setup notes β so you can filter to templates that fit what you've connected Create an agent from a template through the public API and get a version already adapted to your own PSA and RMM β permission blocks for integrations you don't use are cleared automatically Agent scripts can now call the Neo public API from the sandbox with the same permissions the agent already holds β so a script can read or compare settings across a fleet of agents Edit one triage field's instructions through the public API without resending every field PowerShell scripts may now load approved modules (ActiveDirectory, Exchange Online, MSOnline, AzureAD) β AD and M365 onboarding scripts no longer fail validation, while unapproved or obfuscated module loads stay blocked Ask the Neo Support Agent for something Neo can't do yet and it now points you to Roadmap & Updates with a ready-to-post write-up, instead of quietly opening a support ticket Switching an agent to a schedule now explains in place why there's no Filters tab, and how to scope a scheduled agent to the right client companies Dispatch Dispatch approval cards now have one button per intent β Assign, Offer to someone else (with an optional note), and Don't auto-assign β and declining genuinely offers the ticket to the next available technician, excluding everyone who already declined The Approvals page offers the same three dispatch ans Aug 21 Aug 21, 2026 Changelog β Week of August 17, 2026 New features and improvements Integrations Added Huntress β connect it under Integrations β Security and agents can pull the incident report behind a Huntress ticket, approve remediations, isolate a compromised machine, or file expiring travel exceptions, with the weighty actions always behind technician approval Added ThreatLocker β agents can read computers, applications and policies, and approve or deny software requests, with the same approval safety Connecting SharePoint, Confluence, or IT Glue now ends by asking which documentation is shared with every client, so shared runbooks stop being invisibly scoped to one company SharePoint folder mapping: unmatched folders can now be mapped by hand, the queue opens instantly as a folder tree grouped by library, and bulk select makes large reviews quick Cloud marketplaces (Pax8, Sherweb, Ingram Micro, D&H, Microsoft Partner Center) now report as connected on the Integrations page, and License Subscriptions returns each subscription's renewal date and auto-renew state ConnectWise Client-facing ticket notes are now authored as your non-API member, so customers see your service desk's name on replies instead of the API user Added "[Extra] Entered By" and "[Extra] Assigned By" trigger filters, so a workflow can key off who created or assigned the ticket Agents now read exact SLA respond-by and resolve-by deadlines from the ticket instead of guessing from the SLA status text Autotask Added an "[Extra] Count of Open Service Calls" filter that excludes completed and cancelled calls β a ticket whose only booking was cancelled no longer counts as scheduled; service-call filters also run much faster on large ticket sets Halo PSA Agents now move tickets through Halo workflow stages by firing the proper action, so status, SLA and assignment side effects apply instead of only the progress marker moving Agents & Tools Added rich text editing for agent instructions β headings, bold, lists and tables render as you type, and pasting from Word or Google Docs keeps its formatting Agents can now work in SharePoint β browse sites and libraries, read and search files, and work with lists and pages; writing is a deliberate opt-in your admin grants site by site, and deleting is never possible Added an Agents setting on memories β limit a memory to the agents that need it instead of every agent reading it Pinned company memories now reach every Smart Action β L1 Engineer and Acknowledge Issue read them the same way Triage and Dispatch already did Added native CC support to the Send Email tool, with CC recipients shown in the approval preview before sending Ticket analysis now goes through the Neo Support Agent β ask why an agent skipped a ticket and keep asking follow-ups; the old Analysis tab hands the question over for you AI Skills that call external websites now declare the hosts they need, so a skill works in every agent's sandbox instead of failing everywhere but one Turn a Teams conversation into a reusable AI Skill β Skillify now works on Teams-based internal chats from the History tab Scheduled agents can now be created through the public API Dispatch Dispatch agents no longer double-book β before writing an assignment, Neo reserves the engineer and slot, re-reads the calendar, and reports any conflict for your agent to decide; now on for every account at no credit cost Choose who approves a dispatch proposal β approval cards can be routed to the proposed technician Dashboard Added dark Aug 14 Aug 14, 2026 Changelog β Week of August 10, 2026 New features and improvements Agents & Tools Added Lexful (beta) as a documentation source β connect it and your agents can search and cite Lexful runbooks, with the same safety model as IT Glue and Hudu: secrets are never readable, sensitive writes require technician approval, and admin operations are blocked. Neo Support picks up read-only access automatically once connected. Added an "AI generated" label to replies the Neo Teams app writes, so technicians always know which messages came from the model. White-label bots are unaffected. Agent time entries are now labeled as written by Neo rather than credited to a human technician, across all PSAs β so agents re-reading a ticket no longer mistake Neo's own notes for a technician's reply. Dispatch Human in the Loop is now available to every tenant on every PSA: choose Never, Always, or When unsure in the dispatch builder and pick who approves, with escalations arriving as interactive Teams cards. Redesigned dispatch approval cards: clear option-style choices, decline-with-a-note, friendly times and entry names, and long reasoning collapsed behind Show/Hide. New dispatch verification step (rolling out in stages): before writing an assignment, Neo checks it against live PSA data β time off, overlapping appointments, SLA deadline β and reserves the technician, so concurrent runs can't double-book the same person. Dispatch now warns when a proposed slot falls outside the technician's working hours, and reads the technician's calendar live in Halo so it stops booking already-taken slots. Integrations New guided PSA setup: connecting ConnectWise, Autotask, Halo, ServiceNow, or Syncro is now a step-by-step walkthrough, and saving credentials runs a live check suite (sign-in, ticket read, write probe, webhooks, sync) so a bad permission is named at setup instead of surfacing later as a broken agent. Connected integrations show a health strip with a "Run checks now" button. Autotask setup no longer asks for an integration code β Neo authenticates with its own vendor code. ConnectWise customer-reply settings are now configurable right from the trigger page, including a new option to accept replies from senders not registered as contacts. Dashboard New chat History tab: browse every chat conversation in your tenant β including Teams sessions β filterable by agent, person, company, and period, with per-turn credit detail and a drill-down showing the agent's reasoning and every tool call. Access requires the new Owner role (your earliest active admin was promoted automatically). Redesigned the Approvals page with markdown rendering and queue stats. Filters on numeric fields now support "is in list" / "is not in list". Nested automations now render with tree connector lines, and execution history groups paused runs and their continuations into one chain. End-user chat Added a per-channel idle window: after a quiet period, end users get a fresh-start card instead of stale context bleeding into a new issue. Signing up now goes straight into the trial β no plan selection up front. Bug fixes Agents & Tools Fixed a permission error that intermittently blocked Neo Support from reading ticket and documentation data. Fixed Neo API permissions on agents having no effect at runtime even though they saved correctly. Fixed generated Active Directory scripts running writes against unverified user lookups β they are now rejected before execution instead of failing confusingly on the domain controller.
